Prank calling people

Yesterday (20th October) Franky, Maria (Franky’s mum), Jess, Rosie and I were coming back from Hanmer Springs. We were all jaded, none of us were even talking (which is rare). We were about 45 minutes away from home.

Out of nowhere Maria said, “Lets play truth, dare or promise!” Rosie and I were confused because we had only ever play truth or dare before. She then explained that promise meant that you had to promise to do something for someone.
We had a few rounds of the game, everyone was just choosing truth, until Jess asked Franky ‘truth or dare?’ Jess couldn’t think of anything so I gave her an idea. The idea was to prank call someone. Jess dared Franky to do it and she agreed. Franky dialed a random number from her phone and called. The man picked up, he sounded like an indian man, like the next 4 people we called.
We were saying things like, “I know you stole my chicken nuggets at McDonald's yesterday, and I would like you to know that I want them BACK!” And various other things. Maria then asked “Do you girls have your caller ID’s on?” We all still had them on so we turned them off as soon as we could figure out how. We remained prank calling other people for the rest of the car ride.
At one point we started going through our contacts and calling people we didn’t think would recognise our voices. We called a few people from Marias contacts, and a few from mine. Before we knew it, we were dropping off Jess at her mum’s house (she was the first one to get dropped off). Next Rosie and I got dropped off at our houses and Franky went home.

The next morning Franky got a few calls from people she had prank called while her caller ID was on and so did I.

  1. Hi Grace. This blog post was funny to read and very intertaining. Did any of your contact people know it was you? And when the other people called you back were they mad?
